Sadly to say, I'm lagging behind time!
24th of May, I'll never forget this date.
A date that my life met a fate.
It could have been a year by now.
But never once, did I lost my vow.
I promised you happiness with me.
But all I am left is a memory.
Seeing you happy, I feel it too.
Never once, did I forget you.
The year we had, it has been tuff.
I guess I never thank you quite enough.
Thanks for time we share.
Thanks for being there to care.
Sweet memories with you is rare.
But I guess, life isn't only fair.
